Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Appoints New Chief of Staff

 Dr. Shady Salib, internist, joins the leadership team at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center as the Chief of Staff.  He has earned the respect of his peers culminating in his election to this position by the hospital’s medical staff.  

As Chief of Staff, Dr. Salib will lead the hospital’s medical staff and will serve as a member of the hospital’s board of directors.  Dr. Salib will serve as a liaison between the hospital’s administrative staff and its medical staff members.  He will also play a key role in making continuous quality improvements, as well as provide medical staff input for all major expansion and renovation projects.  
“Dr. Salib was elected because of his commitment to Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center and his continued perseverance to deliver expert care to our community,” said CEO Dianne Goldenberg.  “We are pleased to welcome him into his new role, as he will serve as an excellent representative for our medical staff.”
Dr. Salib earned an executive MBA degree in healthcare management from the University of Miami.  He attended and graduated from medical school at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt.  Dr. Salib did his residency in internal medicine at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.  Dr. Salib is an associate of both the Society of General Internal Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
